The Torah is divided into 4 levels of learning. The fourth level, Sod, is where the mystical or sacred meanings are presented. These are extensively studied through the Kabbalah.
The “Sod” design features an image of the Ner Tamid or Eternal Light. This light represents the light of Torah, and our burning desire to understand each sacred word, Flanking the light on either side, are mystical creatures, called “Zig”. They seem to guard and protect the sacred light behind them. A beautiful crown also appears, reminding us of the treasure that we have been given by Gd.
