During the Jewish High Holidays we fervently speak the words “Zachreynu L’chaim” in which we implore upon Gd to “Remember us for life” in the year to come. As we stand in prayer and contemplate our actions and deeds from the previous year, we commit to do better, to make better choices, to become a better person, and to become closer to Gd.

In the year before us, we understand that the future is known only to our Creator. To the left are all the possibilities of goodness, health, happiness, success, and love. To the right, are unknown trials and difficult circumstances that appear when we least expect them. Whether negative or positive we pray for the strength and understanding to count our blessings and keep our faith and trust in Gd.
