"It Will Follow You" aptly hints at the essence of this design. Rolling waves and flowing textures are seen throughout. These images represent the multitude of possible outcomes from one single decision and action. These outcomes affect, not only our own lives, but spin off in infinite directions, creating trails that touch the lives of many. One of the three pillars of Judaism, is "Gimelut Chesed", or "Acts of Kindness". When we think only of ourselves, we float through life in isolation and without purpose. When we practice kindness, our lives become rich and fulfilling.
The left side of the design is depicted in dark and somber tones of color. Dried, wilted flowers represent negative words or actions. The right side morphs into golden tones of positivity and good deeds. Verdant green buds appear ready to flower and bloom. The flow of shapes remind us that we will reap what we sow. What we put out into the world will come back to us. The Hebrew, nestled in the lower center of the design, is positioned in the area where choices are made, for the good or bad. These words loosely translate to "The echoes of decision and action ripple out in unending waves". When standing farther away from the design, the shape of an eye begins to form. This represents the need for clarity of vision, generosity of spirit, and objective perspective.
